A hot summer’s day saw over 100 excited and enthusiastic primary school pupils from 14 schools across Cheshire and Staffordshire descend on the Staffordshire Activity Centre, Seighford for the 10th Annual Staffordshire Goblin electric car event.
A colourful and varied selection of car bodywork designs were on display, all designed and made by the pupils who were competing for the Best Bodywork and Greenest Bodywork Awards.
Saturday 21st May 2016 – the weather wasn’t kind to us on Saturday, but we did manage to avoid a big downpour, the teams weren’t phased and were all in great spirits throughout the day and the rain!
We had a number of brand new teams racing alongside our regular participants and it was great to see how much effort had gone into the project from old and new teams alike – we were lucky to yet again receive a large number of portfolios, all of which were creative and full of all the amazing things the teams had been up to in the build up to race day!
On Saturday 14th May we returned to one of our favourite venues on the sunny South coast – Banjo Road, Littlehampton. We may be a little biased, as it is just down the road from our office – but if you have ever seen Goblins race around a hair-pin bend, you will understand why we love it!
